Today I’m happy about: getting into the appointment I needed at my doctor’s office. I was worried I couldn’t have the test performed today because of problems transferring my medical records but I am so grateful to the wonderful women working at my doctor’s office, including the doctor herself! for making it happen.
Sometimes it just feels really good to be reminded that we are all people and are all trying to do the best we can in relation to others. I am now (im)patiently awaiting the results of my test but I am hoping to be in the clear. Only 3-6 days until I find out, but way better than waiting another two weeks for an appointment!

Twofer

Today I’m happy about: surviving the Tahoe trip! Yes, I’m still alive, though we did some damage. I had a fun and rejuvenating weekend with my best friends and we were crazy enough to gym every day regardless of the weekend. Makin’ those gainssss yessir.

Today I’m thankful for my health in spite of an unsettling phone call this morning from the doctor’s office. I am hoping it is precautionary and after more tests are done it will turn out fine. But all the same, scares are scary and I will hopefully be feeling relieved soon.

It’s a loko kind of weekend

Today I’m happy about: being in Tahoe with my bros! We woke up late, went out for breakfast, drove over 2.5 hours to go gym (because we’re crazy and we know it) and are going to settle in for a night of shenanigans with a few cans of Four Loko. I really hope I survive… Everything in moderation, except moderation, right?

Traffic can’t stop us now

Today I’m happy about: driving to Tahoe for the weekend! Though we’ve had some awful traffic, we are getting there slowly but steadily. Work went well after a bomb.com workout, and I am really excited to spend some time in the woods with some of my best buddies. Lakeside tanning anyone?

I just keep going and going

Today I’m happy about: feeling like the energizer bunny! Destroyed my leg and shoulder workout this morning and have been unpacking a massive shipment at work essentially by myself for the past 5 hours- only a little over 2 to go! Then I’m only one short shift from being done and free for the weekend.

Really looking forward to relaxing…. in Tahoe! Our annual “bro’s” trip will commence Friday after we get off work and I couldn’t be more excited!

Today I’m happy about: sleeping. Enough sleep is so incredibly crucial to my existence and not having enough of it this past week was leaving me a bit rundown, but thankfully last night I got caught up. And just in time since I have some fun plans looming ahead for the weekend!

Today I’m happy about: eating Indian food! I love it but don’t have it too often because I forget about it, but thankfully it’s one of the things that’s thankfully getting me through my seriously long shift at work. After way too little sleep last night, I’m feeling it today.

Reinvigorated

Today I’m happy about: having the most amazing night out yesterday! I had so much fun and haven’t felt so carefree and unabashedly happy in a long time. Today I feel reinvigorated and prepared to buckle down and be really productive in starting my personal training certification, since my goal is to finish it by the end of the summer!

I’m back!

Today I’m happy about: having a totally killer workout this morning! I got to sleep in (till 8:30 woohoo!) and had a fantastic fast-paced weightlifting session and I feel so good. I also tried a new vegetarian protein powder, the Vega Vanilla, that I picked up at whole foods and I am in love. The taste was great and it is on point for my nutritional needs, new favorite found!

It doesn’t hurt that it’s a beautiful Saturday and I don’t have work this weekend either. 😉
